Italian Pot Roast from Pamela Kazmierczak
Update the tired old slow cooker pot roast with this fresh Italian take.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon of dried basil
- 3 pound of beef rump roast
- 1 onion sliced
- 2 cups of tomato sauce
Instructions
- Stir the garlic powder, oregano, and basil in a bowl.
- Rub the mix of spices over the rump roast.
- Grease the slow cooker insert and place the roast in the bottom.
- Coat the roast with the onion and tomato sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for eight hours.
Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:
Serve with a side of cannellini beans to complete the meal.
