Italian Pot Roast from Pamela Kazmierczak

Update the tired old slow cooker pot roast with this fresh Italian take.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon of dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon of dried basil
  • 3 pound of beef rump roast
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 cups of tomato sauce

Instructions

  • Stir the garlic powder, oregano, and basil in a bowl.
  • Rub the mix of spices over the rump roast.
  • Grease the slow cooker insert and place the roast in the bottom.
  • Coat the roast with the onion and tomato sauce.
  • Cover and cook on low for eight hours.

Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:

Serve with a side of cannellini beans to complete the meal.
