Ingredients

  • ½ lb linguine
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • Zest of 2 lemons
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook Linguine:

  • Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain and set aside.

Prepare Garlic Oil:

  • In a small frying pan, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  • Add the crushed garlic cloves and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
  • Remove from heat.

Toss Pasta:

  • Place the cooked linguine in a serving dish.
  • Pour the garlic oil over the linguine.

Add Seasonings:

  • Add the chopped fresh parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste to the linguine.
  • Toss well to coat the pasta evenly with the flavors.

Serve:

  • Serve the lemon garlic linguine hot, garnished with additional parsley and lemon zest if desired.
