Lemon Garlic Linguine
Equipment
- 1 large pot for boiling pasta,
- 1 Serving dish
Ingredients
- ½ lb linguine
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
- Zest of 2 lemons
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook Linguine:
- Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
Prepare Garlic Oil:
- In a small frying pan, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Add the crushed garlic cloves and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
- Remove from heat.
Toss Pasta:
- Place the cooked linguine in a serving dish.
- Pour the garlic oil over the linguine.
Add Seasonings:
- Add the chopped fresh parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste to the linguine.
- Toss well to coat the pasta evenly with the flavors.
Serve:
- Serve the lemon garlic linguine hot, garnished with additional parsley and lemon zest if desired.
