Southern Sweet Tea

- Large container (10-gallon capacity)

Ingredients
- 25 lbs. sugar
- 20 oz. plus 5 cups instant tea
- 10 gallons boiling water
- Large block of ice
Instructions
- In a large container, blend together sugar and 20 oz.
- of instant tea until the sugar melts.
- Add boiling water to the mixture and let it steep for a few minutes.
- Once steeped, add a large block of ice to the container.
- Slowly pour in 7 1/2 to 8 gallons of cold water, stirring well.
- Finally, add the remaining 5 cups of instant tea and stir until thoroughly combined.
- Serve chilled over ice.
