  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce gluten-free if needed
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar or substitute with sweetener of choice for low-carb or keto
  • Powdered black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, combine black pepper, ground cinnamon, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, brown sugar, soy sauce, water, and apple cider vinegar.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until fragrant, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the sauce to cool to room temperature.
  • Once cooled, transfer the sauce to a clean, airtight container for storage.
