Roasted Garlic and Bell Pepper Pizza
A delicious pizza topped with roasted garlic, sweet bell peppers, and a drizzle of olive oil. This vegetarian pizza is light, flavorful, and perfect for a warm summer evening.

Ingrediënten
For the Pizza Base:
- 1 gluten-free pizza crust or traditional if preferred
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the Toppings:
- 4 cloves garlic roasted and mashed
- 2 bell peppers red, yellow, or orange, sliced
- 150 g tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil for drizzling
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves chopped (for garnish)
Optional:
- Vegan mozzarella cheese or regular mozzarella
Instructies
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Roll out the pizza dough and place it on a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Drizzle a little olive oil over the pizza base and spread evenly.
- Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the base.
- Evenly distribute the roasted garlic and bell pepper slices on top of the pizza.
- Drizzle olive oil over the toppings and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the toppings are cooked.
- If using mozzarella, add it in the last 5 minutes of baking to melt over the top.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
