Equipment

Ingrediënten

  • 12 oz Alaskan salmon – drained and flaked
  • 3 oz onions – chopped
  • 6 oz celery – chopped
  • 4-5 oz shoestring carrots
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 8 oz cream cheese – cubed
  • ¼ cup brown rice
  • 1 tbsp dill weed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup water

Instructies

Combine in slow cooker:

  • Onion
  • Celery
  • Carrots
  • Chicken broth
  • Rice
  • Cook on low 4-5 hours

Once vegetables soften:

  • Turn slow cooker to high
  • Add cream cheese
  • Stir until melted
  • Stir into slow cooker:
  • Salmon
  • Spices
  • ¼ cup water
  • Cook 10-20 minutes on high, stirring occasionally.

Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:

Serves 4 | Total time: 5 hrs 10 mins

Variation

Use ¾ cup celery, ½ cup carrots, ¼ cup onion, ¼ cup corn, 4 cups broth, and leave out rice. Also add black pepper, garlic powder, 2 cups leeks, and 1 skinned baked potato.
