Ingrediënten
- ½ cup 72 g vital wheat gluten flour
- 1 tablespoon 15 ml canola oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon 34 g ketchup
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon mild to medium chili powder
- 2 tablespoons 16 g nutritional yeast
- ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
- 2 tablespoons 30 ml water
- ½ teaspoon dried minced onion or ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons 30 ml apple cider vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructies
- In a medium-size bowl, combine the wheat gluten, nutritional yeast, salt, cumin, cayenne, paprika, chili powder, and onion.
- Stir in the water, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, and canola oil.
- Use your fingertips to crumble the mixture.
- Fry in a large-size saucepan over medium-high heat for 8 minutes, or until browned.
