Simply Prawns

Prawns are not only high in protein, but they are also delicious and low in calories. Eat them plain, in a salad, warm, chilled or dipped! They are such a versatile and fairly inexpensive protein, and they can be made in a snap using your air fryer.

Equipment

Ingrediënten

  • 450 grams medium raw prawns tail on, deveined, thawed or fresh
  • 1 ½ tablespoons butter melted
  • ¾ tablespoon fresh lemon juice about ½ medium lemon

Instructies

  • Preheat air fryer at 180°C for 3 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, toss prawns in butter.
  • Place prawns in air fryer basket lightly greased with olive oil.
  • Cook for 4 minutes.
  • Gently flip prawns.
  • Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Transfer prawns to a large serving plate.
  • Squeeze lemon juice over prawns and serve.
