Ingrediënten

Cajun Spice Rub:

  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon crushed dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon crushed dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon crushed dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Fish:

  • 6 fillets of snapper or other firm fish
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructies

Prepare Cajun Spice Rub:

  • Mix together paprika, oregano, thyme, parsley, cayenne pepper, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in an airtight container.
  • Store for future use.

Prepare and Grill Fish:

  • Rinse fish fillets and pat them dry.
  • Brush fillets lightly with oil and sprinkle with the Cajun seasoning mixture.
  • Place the fillets in a barbecue basket.
  • Preheat the grill.
  • Grill the fish for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the fillets.
