- 1 pound chicken wings
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- ⅛ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
Instructies
- Remove tips from the chicken wings; cut wings into 2 pieces, and place them in a shallow dish.
- In a bowl, combine lemon juice, soy sauce, and onion powder.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and marinate the wings in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
- Drain the chicken wings, reserving 1 tablespoon of the marinade.
- Place the wings on a foil-lined broiler pan.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine the reserved marinade, honey, and ketchup, stirring well.
- Brush half of the mixture on the chicken wings.
- Broil the wings 6 to 7 inches from the broiler for 7 minutes.
- Turn the wings and brush them with the remaining sauce.
- Broil for an additional 7 minutes.
