Mix the ground pork with chopped bacon, minced garlic, scallions, salt, black pepper, Romano cheese, and crushed tortilla chips.
Shape the mixture into 8 evenly sized meatballs.
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
Arrange the meatballs in a lightly greased baking pan and pour the marinara sauce over them.
Lower the pan into the air fryer basket.
Cook the meatballs for 10 minutes, turning halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Once the meatballs are cooked, place one meatball on the bottom half of each Hawaiian roll.
Spoon some marinara sauce on top, sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese, and bake in the air fryer at 370°F (185°C) for 3 to 4 minutes until the cheese melts.
Top with the remaining roll halves and serve immediately.
Bon appétit!
