1can15 ounces, or 425 g cooked garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1teaspoonlemon zest
1½tablespoons23 ml fresh lemon juice
2tablespoons30 ml extra-virgin olive oil
2tablespoons32 g tahini
2teaspoonstoasted sesame oil
2teaspoonsground cumin
1teaspoonfine sea saltto taste
¼teaspoonground black pepperto taste
Instructies
Steam the broccoli until tender (about 5 minutes).
In a food processor or blender, combine the steamed broccoli, garbanzo beans, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, tahini, sesame oil, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
Process until smooth, scraping the sides with a rubber spatula a few times to ensure a creamy texture.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve chilled with pita, crackers, or fresh veggies.
