Instructies
In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast.
Let sit for 5 minutes.
Add flour, salt, melted butter, and olive oil, and knead into a smooth dough.
Let rest for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
In a saucepan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic.
Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and sugar.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Roll out the dough and press it into a greased deep-dish pan, covering the sides.
Layer mozzarella cheese on the dough, followed by meat toppings (if using), then tomato sauce.
Sprinkle with Parmesan and dried oregano.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
