Lentil Soup from Georgia Varozza
Ingrediënten
- 5 cups broth or water beef broth tastes especially good in this recipe
- 1 cup lentils
- 1 onion diced
- 2 stalks celery diced
- 2 large carrots peeled and diced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 large potato peeled and diced
- 2 cups tomato sauce I use a pint jar of my homemade sauce
- ½ tsp. curry powder
- ½ tsp. basil
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructies
- Combine all ingredients in a large pot and simmer for 1-2 hours.
- Adjust seasonings and serve.
