Salt & pepper
Instructies
Fry 6 strips bacon until crisp
Cut into ½ inch pieces
Brown beef in the bacon grease
Put beef into crock pot
Brown carrot and onion
Add to crock pot
Add salt & pepper to crock pot
Stir in 3 tbsp flour and 10 ¾ oz can beef broth
Stir well
Add to crock pot:
Bacon
Tomato paste
Garlic
Thyme
Bay leaf
Pearl onion
Cook on low for 8 hours
Sauté mushrooms in butter
Add mushrooms and red wine to crock pot
Cook one additional hour
