Tender and flavorful lamb sirloin steaks, marinated in aromatic Indian spices and cooked to perfection in the air fryer. A quick and delicious dish with a spicy kick!
In a blender or food processor, add all ingredients except the lamb steaks.
Blend until the onion is finely minced and the spices are well combined (about 3-4 minutes).
Place the lamb steaks in a large bowl.
Use a knife to make shallow slashes in the meat and fat to help the marinade penetrate.
Rub the blended spice mixture over the lamb, ensuring even coverage.
Let the meat marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 5 minutes.
Place the lamb steaks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature—150°F (65°C) for medium-well.
Remove from the air fryer and let the steaks rest for a few minutes before serving.
