You’ll find pre-made roasted red capsicum in store, but why spend that money when they are so easy to make with your air fryer for a fraction of the price? They can be added in salads, placed on pizzas, chopped up in devilled eggs, folded into frittatas and used wherever else your imagination takes you.
2large red capsicumstops and bottoms removed, cut along rib sections and seeded
1 ½tablespoonsolive oil
Instructies
Preheat air fryer at 200°C for 3 minutes.
In a small bowl, toss pepper sections with olive oil.
Arrange sections in ungreased air fryer basket.
Cook for 12 minutes.
Flip capsicums and cook for an additional 12 minutes.
Transfer capsicums to a small metal bowl.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let rest for 15 minutes to allow further steaming to occur.
Remove capsicums from bowl.
Peel and discard skins from capsicums.
Serve.
