4cans14.5 oz each organic diced tomatoes with Italian herbs, undrained
1can 6 oz tomato paste
1largeonionchopped (1 cup)
8clovesgarlicfinely chopped
1tablespoonolive or vegetable oil
2teaspoonssugar
2teaspoonsdried basil leaves
1teaspoondried oregano leaves
1teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonpepper
24ozuncooked spaghetti
Shredded Parmesan cheeseif desired
Instructies
Spray 3- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
In cooker, mix all ingredients except spaghetti and cheese.
Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
Cook and drain spaghetti as directed on package.
Serve sauce over spaghetti.
Sprinkle with cheese.

This all-purpose sauce is simple to prepare. Make it often and keep a few extra containers in the freezer. Ladle the cooked sauce into airtight freezer containers; cover and freeze up to 1 month.
