Stewed Plums
Ingrediënten
- 35 oz 1 kg Plums
- 7 tbsp 150 g Honey
- 4 tsp 2 cl Water
- 4 tsp 2 cl Slivovitz
- 5 Cloves
- 1 Cinnamon stick
Instructies
- Wash, halve, and pit the plums.
- Break up the cinnamon and place in a burlap spice bag with the cloves.
- Boil the water with honey and the spice bag.
- Add the plums and slowly cook until they are soft.
- Let cool, remove the spice bag, and flavor with slivovitz.
- Store well sealed.
