The Classic
This is where it all started. I don’t know who the Da Vinci-like genius was that did this. Maybe it was Da Vinci himself? Who knows? This is the simplest of them all but that doesn’t mean it has the least flavor. There is a simple happiness in this sandwich. It’s like summer days swimming in a river and making mud castles.
Ingrediënten
- 3-4 oz. medium Cheddar cheese
- 2 slices Texas Toast bread
- Butter spread
Instructies
- Butter one side of each piece of bread.
- Layer all the cheese on top.
- Add the other piece of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Cook at 325° for four minutes on each side.
- Makes one.
- One humble, glorious piece of joy and happiness for your mouth and soul.
