Slice the apples into thin rounds, then dip them into the orange juice to prevent them from discolouring and to add some extra flavour.
Spread the apple slices over a wire cooling rack in a single layer and pop them into the oven for a few hours or overnight, or until completely dried out and crunchy.
(If your oven runs a bit hot, you can prop the door open a little with a wooden spoon.)
Once the apple slices are completely cool, transfer them to an airtight container.
