Sweet Coconut Bread

Sweet Coconut Glaze:
▢
½
cup
sugar
▢
¼
cup
water
▢

Tbsp.
butter
▢
1
tsp.
coconut extract
Instructies
Preheat oven to 3500 F.
Lightly spray an 8" loaf pan with cooking spray.
Set aside.
Stir together all ingredients for the bread and transfer the dough into prepared pan.
Bake for 1 hour, or until internal temperature registers at 2000 F.
Remove bread from oven and let cool in the pan while you make the glaze.
To Make the Glaze
Boil sugar + water + butter for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and then add the coconut extract.
Pour over bread while loaf is still in the pan and top with additional coconut flakes and chopped pecans, if desired.
Allow the bread to cool for 30 minutes an remove from the pan and transfer to a foil.
