Italian Ciabatta Bread

cups+ 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
divided

+ 1 tbsp lukewarm water
divided

active dry yeast

honey

Instructies
In a small mixing bowl, add 1 cup of water+ yeast + honey, and allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes.
In a separate bowl add the flour + yeast mixture + the remaining water.
Whip thoroughly with a wooden spoon, and sprinkle in the salt.
Continue combining until you have loose and sticky dough.
Sprinkle the dough’s top with a spoonful of the remaining flour and cover with a large tea towel.
Let it rise for 2 hours.
In the meantime, pre-heat your oven to 425 F.
As the oven heats, line a medium cookie sheet with parchment paper and sprinkle with a tablespoon of flour.
Carefully transfer the dough to the cookie sheet, floured side facing the top.
Next, place a pan at the oven’s bottom and put 5 ice cubes on top to create vapor.
Bake your bread for 25 minutes.
Let it cool and serve.
