Turkey burgers themselves are naturally leaner, but can still pack a punch of flavor. This is a classic southern American dish that is seasoned with the perfect amount of spice.
In a bowl, add in the lean ground turkey, soy sauce, lime juice, crushed garlic, powdered cumin, smoked paprika, dried oregano and dash of black pepper.
Stir well to mix.
Divide into 4 balls and flatten into patties.
Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat.
Place the burger patties directly onto the grill.
Cover and cook for 8 to 10 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness.
Transfer onto the hamburger buns.
Prepare the sauce.
In a blender, add in the chopped jalapeno, chopped cilantro, chopped garlic, vinegar, lime juice, olive oil and Greek yogurt.
Season with a dash of salt and black pepper.
Blend on the highest setting until smooth in consistency.
Top off the burgers with the lettuce and tomato slices.
Drizzle the aji sauce over the top.
