Banana-Mango Drink
Licuado de Plátano y Mango
Add cold milk to the fresh fruit in a blended drink, and it becomes a licuado, another type of fresca, or fresh drink. This creamy, rich drink is delicious and satisfying.

Ingredients
Makes 2 servings

ripe mango
▢

cups
cold whole or low-fat milk
▢

medium
ripe banana
peeled and cut into chunks
▢

tablespoon
sugar
Instructions
To peel and cut up the mango, cut ½ of the mango away from the flat oval seed with a sharp paring knife.
Then lay the cut half on a flat surface, skin side down, and make cross-cuts on the fruit, separating the flesh into cubes.
(Do not cut through the peel.
) Push the fruit inside out and cut the cubes off the peel.
Discard the peel and put the pieces of fruit in a blender jar.
Add the remaining ingredients and purée until smooth.
Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:
Serve cold.
