Carrot Bars
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 small jars carrot baby food
- 1 ⅓ cup cooking oil scant
- Frosting:
- 2 cups flour
- 4 tablespoons oleo
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 2 3 oz. packages cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 pound powdered sugar
Instructions
- Beat eggs; add sugar, then oil.
- Add mixed dry ingredients.
- Add carrots last.
- Bake in 11 x 17
- pan 30 minutes at 375º or in 9 x 13 pan for 40 minutes at 350º.
- Frost and spread with nuts.
- Makes lots of frosting.
