Cinnamon-Apple Breakfast Buns

12.4-ounce can refrigerated cinnamon rolls

Granny Smith apple
peeled, cored, and cut into 8 rings
▢

1.62-ounce package instant cinnamon and spice oatmeal
▢

firmly packed brown sugar

¼

chopped pecans
▢
¼
teaspoon
ground cinnamon
▢
¼
teaspoon
ground nutmeg

tablespoon
butter or margarine
melted
Instructies
Separate cinnamon rolls, and place in a lightly greased 8-inch round pan; set icing aside.
Bake rolls according to package directions.
Place 1 apple ring on top of each roll.
Combine oatmeal and remaining 5 ingredients in a small bowl.
Sprinkle mixture evenly over apple layer.
Bake at 400° for 20 minutes or until apples are tender.
Drizzle warm rolls with reserved icing.
