Caramel Sticky Buns
Our Test Kitchens staff couldn’t resist these buns. Use any remaining sauce over pound cake or fresh fruit.

Caramel Sauce

16-ounce package hot roll mix
▢

chopped pecans
toasted

butter
softened

sugar

ground cinnamon
Instructies
Prepare Caramel Sauce; set aside.
Prepare roll mix according to package directions.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Pour Caramel Sauce into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch pan; sprinkle with pecans.
Roll dough into a 15- x 10-inch rectangle.
Spread with butter, and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Roll up, jelly-roll fashion, starting at long edge.
Cut into 12 slices.
Arrange, cut sides down, over Caramel Sauce.
Cover and let rise in a warm place (85°), free from drafts, 30 minutes or until doubled in bulk.
Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
Let buns stand on a wire rack 10 minutes.
Invert onto a serving platter.
Serve buns warm.
Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:
Buns may be frozen before rising. Remove from freezer, and let thaw at room temperature; continue as directed above.
