Instructies
In a large zip-top freezer bag, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and freshly ground pepper.
Add the beef stew meat and seal the bag.
Shake to coat the meat with the flour mixture.
Sauté the minced garlic in hot vegetable oil in a stockpot over medium-high heat for 1 minute.
Add the floured beef and cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
Add the beef broth, Mirepoix, and the remaining ingredients.
Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat.
Simmer for 1½ to 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
