Instructies
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2:
In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread, melted margarine, raisins, and ground cinnamon.
Mix well, and transfer to a 1-2 quart baking dish.
Step 3:
In the same bowl, beat the eggs.
Stir in sugar, vanilla, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
Slowly whisk in the hot milk.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, sprinkle with nutmeg, and set aside to soak for 5 minutes.
Step 4:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
