In a bowl, combine room temperature cream cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, shredded medium Cheddar cheese, diced jalapeño, and salsa.
Mix until thoroughly combined.
Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
On the non-buttered side of three slices of bread, spread equal amounts of the cheese mixture.
Crumble 5 or 6 nacho chips on top of the cheese mixture on each of the three slices of bread.
Top each prepared slice of bread with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing out.
Cook the sandwiches at 325°F for four minutes on each side.
Once cooked, slice the sandwiches and serve hot as a delicious appetizer at any fiesta!
