Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
In a pot over high heat, mix all the sauce ingredients except the cornstarch slurry.
Bring to a boil and let it boil for 1 minute, then reduce the heat to medium-low.
Add the cornstarch slurry to the sauce and whisk vigorously until dissolved.
Cook for about 3 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.
In a medium-sized bowl, add the pressed and cubed tofu.
Toss the tofu in the liquid aminos until coated, then add the garlic powder, salt, cornstarch, sesame oil, and black pepper.
Toss until the tofu is thoroughly coated.
Place the tofu in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring each piece has some space around it.
Cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
Once the tofu is cooked, toss it in the prepared orange glaze sauce until completely coated.
Serve the tangy orange glazed tofu sprinkled with sesame seeds and chopped scallions.
