Add the chicken pieces to the bag one at a time and shake to coat them evenly with the bread crumb mixture.
Place the coated chicken pieces in a shallow baking dish.
Drizzle the oil and water over the chicken in the baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining bread crumb mixture over the top of the chicken.
Drizzle the melted butter or margarine over the chicken.
Bake the chicken, uncovered, for 45 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
After 45 minutes, add the Marsala wine or sherry to the baking dish.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and continue baking at 325°F (160°C) for an additional 15 minutes.
