Yogurt and Sour Cream Biscuits

Ingrediënten

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. oregano
  • ¼ cup ½ stick very cold butter, cut into small pieces
  • cup plain yogurt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup finely chopped green onions or chives

Instructies

  • Preheat the oven to 400°.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, or generously grease the baking sheet.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and oregano.
  • Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbles.
  • Add the yogurt, milk, and sour cream and stir gently to form a soft, sticky dough.
  • Stir in the green onions.
  • Using about ¼ cup for each biscuit, drop the dough 2 inches apart onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until the biscuits are a light golden brown.
