Combine the following ingredients for some homemade blue cheese dressing: ½ cup mayonnaise, ¼ cup sour cream, 2 teaspoons full-cream milk or cream, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 peeled and minced clove garlic, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, ⅓ cup blue cheese crumbled and 1 ½ tablespoons chopped fresh chives. Cover with a lid and refrigerate for up to five days.
