Greek Feta & Oregano Fries

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 10 minutes

  • pounds frozen fries
  • 8 unpeeled cloves garlic
  • Cooking spray
  • 3 ounces feta
  • 1 tsp sea salt flakes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Cheese Fries:

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 5 minutes

  • 2 blocks of grilling cheese 7 ounces each
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Cooking spray
  • Greek yogurt dipping sauce

Zucchini Fries:

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 10 minutes

  • 3 large zucchini
  • cup ground almonds or panko bread crumbs
  • ½ cup finely grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp finely chopped rosemary or oregano
  • A pinch of chili powder
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Greek yogurt dipping sauce

Instructies

Greek Feta & Oregano Fries:

  • Preheat your 5- or 6-quart air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes.
  • Place the frozen fries and unpeeled cloves of garlic in the air fryer basket.
  • Spray with cooking spray.
  • Keep the temperature the same and set the timer for 10 minutes.
  • Cook, turning halfway through cooking time, until the fries are golden.
  • Transfer the cooked fries to a large bowl.
  • Crumble the feta over the fries and sprinkle with sea salt flakes and dried oregano.
  • Toss to combine.

Cheese Fries:

  • Cut the grilling cheese blocks horizontally into three slices each.
  • Cut each slice into three “fries,” yielding a total of 18.
  • In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, ground cumin, ground coriander, and smoked paprika.
  • Preheat your 5- or 6-quart air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Spray the Cheese Fries with spray and then coat them in the flour mixture.
  • Place the Cheese Fries in the basket in a single layer.
  • Keep the temperature the same and set the timer for 5 minutes.
  • Cook until the fries are golden.
  • Serve with Greek yogurt dipping sauce.

Zucchini Fries:

  • Cut the zucchini in half crossways, then cut the zucchini halves into ½-inch-thick “fries.”
  • In a bowl, combine the ground almonds (or panko), finely grated Parmesan, smoked paprika, finely chopped rosemary or oregano, and a pinch of chili powder.
  • Preheat your 5- or 6-quart air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes.
  • Toss the zucchini fries with extra virgin olive oil, then coat them in the almond mixture.
  • Place half of the zucchini fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Keep the temperature the same and set the timer for 10 minutes.
  • Cook, turning halfway through cooking time, until the fries are golden.
  • Transfer to a plate, cover to keep warm, and repeat with the remaining zucchini fries.
  • Season to taste and serve with Greek yogurt dipping sauce.
