  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 pound hake fillets
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Ground white pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons shallots chopped
  • 1 bell pepper seeded and chopped
  • ½ cup Cottage cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 egg well whisked
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • ½ cup Swiss cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Brush the bottom and sides of a casserole dish with avocado oil.
  • Place the hake fillets in the dish and season with garlic powder, salt, and white pepper.
  • Add chopped shallots and bell peppers evenly over the fillets.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine Cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, mustard, and lime juice.
  • Mix until smooth.
  • Pour the cheese mixture over the fish and spread evenly.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C).
  • Cook the casserole for 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese on top and cook for an additional 7 minutes.
  • Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
