Ingredients

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour blend
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 4 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • ¼ teaspoon powdered black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dry minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar or substitute with sweetener of choice for low-carb or keto

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine white sugar, dry minced garlic, powdered black pepper, dried minced onion, dried basil, salt, crushed red pepper flakes, chili powder, dried parsley, ground cumin, and all-purpose flour.
  • Stir the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Transfer the spice blend to an airtight jar or container for storage.
  • Use 1 to 2 tablespoons of the spice blend in your goulash recipe, adjusting to taste.
