Aussie BBQ Shrimp Skewers
Succulent shrimp marinated and grilled to perfection, an Aussie barbecue classic.
Equipment
- Grill, Skewers, Large bowl, Basting brush
Ingredients
- Garlic cloves 3 minced
- Lemon juice 1/4 cup
- Olive oil 1/4 cup
- Paprika 1 tbsp
- Peeled and deveined shrimp 1.5 lbs
- Salt 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
- Dried oregano 1 tbsp
- Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
- Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
- Grill for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
- Brush with any remaining marinade while grilling.
- Remove from grill and serve immediately.
