Grilled Oyster Mushrooms with Olive Oil and Garlic
This straightforward tapa relies on the rich and earthy flavor of oyster mushrooms. It's a quick and easy dish to prepare.

pound
of oyster mushrooms
rinsed, trimmed, and separated into individual "ears"
▢
2
tablespoons
of olive oil
▢
2
garlic cloves
finely chopped
▢
Kosher salt or sea salt
▢

tablespoons
of finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Instructies
Heat a greased stovetop griddle over high heat.
Reduce the heat to medium, and place the oyster mushrooms on the griddle.
Drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle the finely chopped garlic on top.
Use the back of a pancake turner to gently press the mushrooms to flatten them.
After a minute or so, flip the mushrooms, season them with salt, and continue cooking until they become tender.
Once the mushrooms are done, sprinkle them with the finely chopped parsley, and serve the dish while it's hot.
