1poundmedium or large langostinos/prawnsshells intact
Instructies
In a medium saucepan, combine olive oil, cloves, water, white wine, onion slices, carrot slices, lemon slice, parsley sprigs, dried thyme, bay leaf, dried red chile pepper, peppercorns, and a pinch of salt.
Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Add the langostinos/prawns to the simmering liquid, return to a gentle boil, and cook until the langostinos/prawns turn pink, approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove the langostinos/prawns, keeping the cooking liquid.
Peel the langostinos/prawns and place them in a medium bowl.
Bring the reserved cooking liquid to a boil over high heat and let it cook until reduced by half.
Allow the liquid to cool.
Discard the bay leaf, then pour the reduced liquid over the langostinos/prawns, stirring to coat evenly.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
Serve the zesty citrus-marinated langostinos/prawns cold for a refreshing culinary experience.

Wine Pairing:
This dish pairs well with a crisp and acidic Sauvignon Blanc or a light-bodied Pinot Grigio. Alternatively, a sparkling Prosecco would complement the flavors nicely.
