Warm Slaw
A variation on sweet and sour cabbage, warm slaw has a creamier dressing but a similar effect.

butter

shredded cabbage

salt
▢

cups
water
▢

sugar

egg
beaten

Tbsp.
flour
▢
½
cup
milk
▢

Tbsp.
vinegar
Instructions
Melt butter in saucepan and add cabbage.
Stir thoroughly; then add salt and water.
Cover and cook 10 minutes.
In a bowl mix sugar, egg, flour, and milk.
Add to the cabbage.
Cook another minute.
Add the vinegar and serve.
